Repower The Dandenongs (formerly the Dandenong Ranges Renewable Energy Association) has been supporting the hills community since 2007. Their work includes running education programs, supporting electrification, guiding residents through solar and battery options, and championing community-based renewable projects. ###### WHY WE JOINED At Buffalo SPS, our work is all about empowering people with practical, reliable energy solutions — especially in areas where storms, bushfires and outages are real, lived concerns. The Dandenongs is one of those places. By joining the committee, we’re able to contribute: - **Technical expertise** in solar, batteries, and resilient power systems - **On-the-ground insights** into what’s working for homes in the hills - **Support for community projects** that make clean energy more accessible - **Education and guidance** to help households navigate the energy transition This isn’t just a professional alignment — it’s a chance to directly support a community that deserves reliable, future-proof energy. ###### **SUPPORTING THE HILLS COMMUNITY** The Dandenong Ranges face a unique combination of ageing houses, exposed powerlines, and challenging terrain.
